The IGPS medium frequency power supply specialized for chain quenching and tempering is a new circuit design by our company, which adopts the most advanced high-power solid-state device IGBT imported components. It is designed for the quenching and tempering processes of various sizes of chain and features extremely high frequency stability, with a variation rate of only ±2%. The stable frequency plays a crucial role in enhancing the mechanical properties and strength of chains.
As a result, it has gained widespread popularity in the chain heat treatment industry. Advantages of IGPS over Thyristor-Based Medium-Frequency Power Supplies:
1. Energy Efficiency – Saves 10%-40% more energy than KGPS power supplies in chain quenching and tempering.
Example of 10mm chain: power consumption is less than 320 kWh per ton, heat treating 2.5 tons in 8 hours ;
2. High Post-Treatment Strength – Consistently achieves Grade 80 and above strength requirements.
