An automatic chain bending machine automatically performs over 20 actions—including metal wire straightening, feeding, cutting, bending, chain knitting (interlinking), and shaping at room temperature or under heated conditions. It bends wire or bar stock into finished round chain links.
A complete production cycle typically consists of the following steps:
1. Feeding and Clamping
The straightened metal wire is fed into the working position by the feeding device and firmly secured by the clamping mechanism.
2. Bending and Forming
The Pre-bending die, core dies and other cpmponents work together to wrap the wire around the core die into a U shape, and finally close the ends to form an open ring (chain link).
3. Knitting / Interlinking
During the bending process, each newly formed open chain link passes through the previously closed link, achieving automatic chain connection.
4. Discharge Preparation
The formed chain link is taken out and rotated by 90 degrees, ready for the next link to be inserted.

The panel includes a series of practical and efficient controls: variable frequency drive fault alarm, short material protection, core die fault protection, production count display, frequency adjustment, forward/reverse rotation operation, and more. These features make operation more convenient and reliable while improving the machine’s automation level.
This series of machines adopts pneumatic clutch transmission and gear speed change, further enhancing operating efficiency.
